As the month of October and November approaches, India gears for various festivals including Dussehra and Diwali. With this, concerns around breathing polluted air also emerges. While air pollution reaches dangerously high levels during Diwali, the smoke emitted from bursting crackers remains for days even after the festival.

To address this concern, the South Korean multinational electronics giant – LG has launched a wearable air purifier, named LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier, that aids in breathing clean and filtered air. The mask-like air purifier is equipped with H13 grade HEPA filters, which is the same type of filtering technology used by the company in its high-end air purifiers.

The purifier further comes with dual fans, speed of which is automatically adjusted from low to medium to high depending on the cycle and volume of the wearer’s breath.

The device is made of premium medical-grade silicon materials and has IPX4 technology that means the product is sweat and water resistant and can be worn out even on rainy days. It is powered by a rechargeable 820mAh battery that can last up to eight hours in low-speed mode.

The wearable air purifier, which is Bluetooth compatible, comes with a built-in mic and speaker that resolves the issue of low voice while speaking or answering calls. The product comes in two color options – Ocean Black and Creamy White. It is priced at Rs 14,990 in the country.
