Ambrane, an indigenous electronics brand, has launched smart glasses with features like built-in speakers and up to seven-hour battery life. Here are all the details of the first smart glasses from an Indian tech company:

The open-ear audio glasses have built-in microphone and speakers that are hidden in its frame for an immersive experience. These are also Bluetooth V5.1 compatible that could instantly pair with both iOS and Android devices. The wireless glasses come with one-touch voice assistance and can be used to listen to music, make hands-free calls and even aid in receiving navigation direction while driving.
The speakers are situated just above the ear and the open-ear headphones system allow users to listen to music while simultaneously staying aware of environment noises around them. Further, these support fast charging and users can get up to seven-hours of entertainment with just two hours of charging.
“Glares are the first smart glasses with a special hall switch to power up the temples as soon as they open,” according to Ambrane. “Spend no time switching it on and say hello to entertainment as soon as the temples open!”
The glasses, which come in easy-to-change lens in round and square shapes, also claims to provide 99.99% protection against harmful UV rays and come with special UV400 UV certification. Additionally, the glasses have Blue Light block lenses to provide comfortable screen time. These are suitable for both female and male and comes in gradient black colour.
These smart glasses have an IPX4 rating for water resistance and comes with a year warranty against manufacturing defects. These are priced at Rs. 9,999 and are currently available at Rs. 4,999 at the company’s website.
