Chinese tech giant Huawei has officially entered the competitive luxury electric vehicle market with the launch of its Huawei Stelato S9 sedan. Developed in collaboration with Beijing-based automaker BAIC Motors, the Stelato S9 made its debut as a concept at the Beijing Auto Show earlier this year before transitioning into production.

Powering the Stelato S9 is a robust 100 kWh battery, promising impressive ranges of up to 816 km for the Max and 721 km for the Ultra under the CLTC testing standard. Huawei has equipped the vehicle with advanced charging technology,enabling a 30-80% charge in just 15 minutes.
Beyond its performance, the Stelato S9 is a showcase of Huawei’s technological prowess. The vehicle incorporates the company’s cutting-edge Advanced Driving System 3.0 (ADS 3.0) and Omnidirectional Collision Avoidance System CAS 3.0, enhancing safety and driver assistance features.
