Xiaomi celebrated its 10th anniversary in India with a grand event in Bengaluru, launching a clutch of products while reflecting on a decade of success in the Indian market. Launches included the Redmi 13 5G, the Redmi Buds 5C and more. The company also showcased the SU7 electric sedan at the event.
Redmi 13 5G:
Successor to the hugely popular Redmi 12, the Redmi 13 5G, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE processor. This budget-friendly smartphone features a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It boasts a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera. Available in Black Diamond, Hawaiian Blue, and Moonstone Silver, the Redmi 13 5G is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and Rs 16,499 for the 8GB+128GB variant.
Redmi Buds 5C:
The Redmi Buds 5C offers impressive audio features, including 40dB Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation and 12.4mm Dynamic Titanium drivers. These wireless earbuds feature a Quad-Mic Setup with AI Environmental Noise Cancellation for crystal-clear calls. With a battery life of up to 36 hours with the charging case, they are priced at Rs 1,999.
Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner X10:
The Robot Vacuum Cleaner X10 is a new addition to Xiaomi’s smart home lineup. It features LDS Laser Navigation for precise mapping and 4000Pa suction for effective cleaning. The automatic cleaning station, with a suction power of 17000Pa, should make it a workhorse. The vacuum cleaner can operate for up to 240 minutes on a single charge and is priced at Rs 29,999.
Xiaomi Pocket Power Bank 10000mAh and Power Bank 4i 10000mAh:
Xiaomi introduced two new power banks to cater to different charging needs. The Pocket Power Bank features a built-in Type-C cable and supports two-way fast charging, priced at Rs 1,699. The Power Bank 4i can charge three devices simultaneously and is priced at Rs 1,299. Both power banks support 22.5W fast charging and include a 12-layer battery protection system.
Xiaomi SU7 Electric Sedan
A highlight of the event was the showcasing of Xiaomi’s first electric car, the Xiaomi SU7. This sleek electric sedan is not yet available for sale in India but was displayed as part of the tenth-anniversary celebrations. The SU7 is part of the company’s ‘Human x Car x Home’ smart ecosystem.
The company claims that the Xiaomi SU7 has been developed with a global team of more than 3,400 engineers and 1,000 technical experts with an investment of USD 10 billion. Xiaomi showcased the Max variant of the SU7 which has 673PS of power and 838Nm of torque with a claimed total range of 800km. The EV can accelerate from a standstill to 100kmph in 2.78 seconds and reach a top speed of 265kmph.

Xiaomi’s decade-long journey in India has been marked by significant achievements, including the sale of 240 million smartphones and over 350 million devices overall. The company aims to double its shipments in India over the next ten years, underscoring the importance of the Indian market in its global strategy.
