Chinese smartphone brand Vivo, is gearing up to launch the eagerly awaited V30 series India on March 7th 2024. With great anticipation, the company has now unveiled the arrival of two smartphones in the lineup, the Vivo V30 and the V30 Pro. A dedicated page on its website offers an exclusive preview to some of its features and its captivating design.
Before unveiling its V30 series, Vivo kicked off the year with a spectacular launch of the X100 flagship series early in January 2024. This remarkable lineup boasted Zeiss APO super-telephoto sensors, delivering an astounding 100x digital zoom capability. While details on the V30 series remain scarce, here are most of the anticipated specifications of this eagerly awaited device.
Vivo V30 series specifications
According to a few reports online, the Vivo V30 is poised to showcase a stunning 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, boasting a peak brightness of up to 2800 nits. Whispers also suggest that it will sport a 50MP front camera, accompanied by dual soft LED flash for selfies. In terms of its performance, leaks suggest the presence an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, complemented by a triple camera setup comprising of a 50Megapixel main sensor, a 50Megapixel ultra-wide lens, followed by a 2MP macro depth sensor. It is also speculated to house a substantial 5000 mAh battery that would potentially support a rapid 80W fast charging.
The innovative Aura Portrait lighting feature previously seen on the V29 series, is present in both the V30 series and its Chinese counterpart, the S18 series, boasting an enhanced capability to not only make way for brighter and sharper photographs but also claims to deliver a refined and softer lighting effect thereby elevating the quality of portrait shots captured with the smartphone.
On a divergent note, whispers about the Vivo V30 Pro being a rebranded variant of the S18 pro have been creating a buzz online. The device may be driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset much like the Chinese variant and may potentially boast a generous 12GB of RAM. We can look forward to a triple rear camera setup, also featuring three formidable 50Megapixel lenses, alongside its equally impressive front-facing camera. Both the devices could possibly have the IP54 rating, for resilience against water and dust. Some reports suggest that there may also be a V30 lite that may join the lineup soon.
