Samsung’s newest offerings have arrived for the dynamic Indian smartphone market as the South Korean tech giant revealed two new models; The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Samsung Galaxy A35 5G. Following eager anticipation regarding their pricing, Samsung has now lifted the veil, unveiling offers and detailed specifications mere days post their grand debut. Samsung A55 5G Specs & Price
Samsung’s Galaxy A55 5G was unveiled on March 11th, 2024. This device boasts a stunning 6.60-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, delivering visuals in FHD+ resolution of 2340×1080 pixels.
Packed with 8GB and 12GB of RAM and a generous 128GB and 256GB of internal storage that is expandable up to a massive 1TB via microSD slot, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is fuelled by the octa-core Exynos 1480 chipset, coupled with a 5000mAh non-removable battery with a 25W wired fast charging support.
In terms of camera, the device features a triple camera setup, that includes one 50 MP PDAF (phase detection auto focus) with OIS primary lens, accompanied by a 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide sensor and a 5 MP f/2.4 macro sensor. On the front, the A55 5G boasts an impressive 32 MP, f/2.2, 26mm wide camera.
Running on the lates One UI 6.1 ROM based on the latest Android 14 with Samsung’s Knox Security, the A55 5G gets an IP67 rating for dust and water protection. Other features include a USB Type-C port and a range of sensors including accelerometer, compass/magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
