Chinese electronics brand Oppo launched the Oppo K12 in China on Wednesday 24th April 2024. This mid-ranger bears a striking resemblance to the recently launched Oneplus Nord CE4 that was launched a few weeks back, considering the fact that Oppo manufactures phones for OnePlus too.. The phone shares a lot of similarities with its Oneplus counterpart and here are the detailed specifications, launch date, and pricing of the handset.

As mentioned earlier, the Oppo K12 has the exact same specifications as that of the OnePlus Nord CE4 as it features the same 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, coupled with a peak brightness of 1100 nits and HDR10+ support. The phone is both stylish and comfortable to hold exactly like the Nord CE4. However, the device is available in three variants unlike the CE4 with 8GB of RAM and 12GB of RAM coupled with 256GB and 512GB of storage.

Under the hood, the K12 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset built on 4nm process, offering ample power for everyday tasks, gaming, and multitasking. The storage is also expandable with the help of the microSD card slot. Performance aside, the K12 features a dual rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor, powered by the ProXDR feature that makes images look sharp and crisp. The 16MP selfie camera takes care of the selfie and video call requirements.

One of the most impressive features of the Oppo K12 is its 100W wired SUPERVOOC fast charging capability, a feat shared with its OnePlus counterpart. The company claims the phone can be charged from 0 to 100% in just 29 minutes, making it ideal for those who are always on the go. The 5500mAh battery provides ample power for a full day’s use. The device also gets IP54 dust and water resistance. The Oppo K12 runs on the Latest Android 14 with ColorOS 14 skin, which can be seen as departure from the OxygenOS 14 skin found on the Nord CE4, highlighting subtle nuances in user experience and interface design.
