Oppo is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated F25 Pro 5G smartphone in India on February 29th 2024. With the curtains barely drawn, the company has tantalized enthusiasts by disclosing select features in a recent press release dated on February 21st.
Earlier this year, Oppo released a fresh addition to its flagship “Reno” lineup to the Indian market with the launch of the Reno 11 Pro during the month of January. Oppo boldly asserts that the F25 Pro 5G not only sets a new benchmark in 4K video capabilities but also upholds the reputation of the F Series with its captivating design and exceptional camera configurations.

With just a tap, users can extract subjects from photos, converting them into transparent PNGs for seamless sharing and create something new. This feature also has multi-subject recognition that enables precise extraction of multiple subjects within one single frame.
Oppo’s F25 Pro 5G boasts of AI capabilities in the arena of photography too as it identifies race, gender, and age of the subject in frame. From skin brightening to flaw reduction, including touch-up effects for lips and cheeks, and facial contouring, the device is loaded with beauty enhancements features. Moreover, dynamic brightness adjustments based on environmental factors to ensure natural skin tones and makeup hues across diverse lighting conditions are featured in the device even during challenging backlit scenarios according to the company.
The front-facing 32 Megapixel camera aims to offer AI algorithms for portrait photography too as users can erase imperfections like spots, acne, and marks while preserving individual features such as beauty spots. With AI-driven pore minimization for a polished finish, the phone boasts to capture stunning portraits.
The company remained tight-lipped on the specifics of the device. However, numerous leaks hint that the OPPO F25 Pro 5G is just a rebranded version of the Reno 11F 5G. If these speculations hold true, anticipate the F25 Pro 5G to boast 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with potential support for an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. The phone may feature a 5000mAh battery but Oppo announced 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging capabilities, on the website. Lastly, the device will feature the Android 14 experience based on the latest ColorOS 14 skin.
