Chinese consumer tech giant OnePlus is all set to unveil the much-anticipated OnePlus Buds 3 truly wireless earphones alongside the OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone in China on January 4. According to multiple media reports, these earphones, which follow the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, are currently open for reservations in China.

    OnePlus Buds 3 rumored specs:

Beginning with design, the OnePlus Buds 3 borrows elements from its predecessor, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. The latest earbuds will likely feature a sleek semi-in-ear design, combining glossy stems with matte, silicone ear tips. Unlike the dual-tone aesthetic of previous models, the OnePlus Buds 3 would opts for a more uniform color scheme. The charging and storage case retains a squarish shape, reminiscent of the older model. While the pricing of OnePlus Buds 3 remains undisclosed, OnePlus confirmed that these earphones will be available in two colors: Clear Sea Blue and Space Grey.

Furthermore, speculations and leaks have provided insights that the earbuds might house a 58mAh battery each, complemented by a 520mAh battery in the case, capable of 4.5W input and 1.2W output. This setup is anticipated to deliver up to 44 hours of battery life, including the case.

A standout feature of the OnePlus Buds 3 is the rumored 48dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), positioning them as a competitive option for users seeking immersive audio experiences. Connectivity-wise, these earphones are expected to support Bluetooth 5.3 and Google Fast Pair, enhancing user convenience. The dual-connectivity feature is another potential highlight, along with an IP55 rating for dust and splash resistance, making them suitable for a variety of environments.

Meanwhile, OnePlus is set to make a global debut of its dual flagship smartphones OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones on January 23. And some reports pointed out that the Shenzhen, Guangdong-headquartered company may launch its latest OnePlus Buds 3 as well as OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone in the global markets, including India, on the same day.
