    Nokia’s latest mid range smartphone, G60 5G is here

    Nokia has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, G60 5G in India. The company claims that the smartphone is made of 100% recycled polycarbonate back and 60% recycled polycarbonate frame. Battery life has always been a strong feature of Nokia, and with this, the company claims the handset can deliver up to 2 days of battery life.

    G60 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G octa-core processor and runs on the Android 12 operating system. Nokia promises up to three OS upgrades as well as up to three years of monthly Android security updates. Talking about the physical features, G60 has a simplistic design that people can people have seen with previous Nokia smartphones. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.58-inch full-HD+ screen with a 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 20:9 aspect ratio with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the top screen along with a peak brightness of 500 nits.

    Nokia 560 has a triple camera setup on the back: it has a main lens of 50MP, with a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie lens. Other than this, camera features on the phone include Night Mode 2.0, Dark Vision, and AI Portrait. The 5G smartphone comes with a 20W charger for a 4,500mAh battery. It has a dual SIM device with eSIM support along with an IP52 rating, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.

    Nokia G60 5G is priced at Rs 32,999 but as part of an introductory offer, early buyers can get the smartphone for Rs 29,999 variant in Black and Ice colors starting November 8 across online and offline channels. Users will get a Nokia’s Power Earbuds Lite, which are worth Rs 3,599, included in the package. “Nokia G60 5G is built from a high percentage of recycled materials with the longest software support yet in the G-series. It brings longevity promises to the many, not the few to help people keep their devices for longer which allows more customers access to 5G technology and the opportunity to future-proof their phones,” said Sanmeet Singh Kochhar, VP- India & MENA, HMD Global.
