Meta has announced the launch of #MadeOnReels, an initiative aimed at helping brands across industries in India boost their business outcomes by leveraging the potential of Reels Ads and the thriving creator ecosystem. Following the success of Reels Ads campaigns with leading brands earlier this year, Meta is now opening the program to a wider range of participants, inviting brands across verticals to submit their briefs.
Arun Srinivas, Director and Head of Ads Business for Meta in India, highlighted the power of this combination: “Our brand campaigns have shown that Reels Ads and creators can help brands achieve their marketing goals and drive growth. At Meta, we aim to assist businesses in adapting to changing consumer behavior and creating a robust digital advertising ecosystem. #MadeOnReels accomplishes this.”
To gauge the effectiveness of Reels Ads on marketing objectives, Meta collaborated with leading brands like Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk, Meesho, Navi, Maruti Nexa, Snitch, Amazon Prime Video, and Tanishq. These campaigns resulted in strong business outcomes, improved ad recall, better message association, and increased conversions.
Selected brands will receive creative support, program support, and the opportunity to work with three creators each on Reels campaigns tailored to their marketing objectives. Top creators like Niharika NM, Barkha Singh, RJ Karishma, Ayush Mehra, Viraj Ghelani, Ruhee Dosani, and Masoom Minawala are set to join the #MadeOnReels program.
Meta’s Global Consumer Short-Form Video Survey by Factworks revealed that Reels could effectively drive customer engagement. According to the survey, after watching Reels, 82 per cent of people in India followed a business, 74 per cent messaged a business, and 77 per cent purchased a product or service.
Srinivas emphasized the potential of Reels Ads and creators to supercharge growth for brands and meet key marketing objectives. He believes that Meta aims to help businesses adapt to evolving consumer behavior and establish a strong digital advertising ecosystem in India.
The introduction of #MadeOnReels marks an exciting development for brands and creators in India. By harnessing the power of Reels Ads and the creativity of the thriving Indian creator community, Meta aims to revolutionize digital advertising and help businesses achieve their marketing goals. As Arun Srinivas noted, “#MadeOnReels is poised to change the game for brands.”
