Specifications:
The Amazon Kindle (11th Gen) features a 300 ppi glare-free six-inch display. The device comes with an adjustable front light and dark mode that make reading effortless, day and night. It comes with 16GB internal storage as opposed to 8GB inbuilt storage in the previous generation Kindle.
The device is claimed to offer six weeks of battery life on a single charge and sports a USB-C charging port, an upgrade from the 10th generation model that was launched in 2019.
While some other features of the upgraded version include parental controls, the device however lacks waterproofing and auto-adjusting light. It is available in black and denim color options.
Keeping sustainability in mind, the American multinational tech giant Amazon claims that the packaging of the next-gen device is wholly made of wood fiber-based material. Further, the portable e-reading device uses 30-75% recycled plastics and 90% recycled magnesium.
Price and availability:
The Amazon Kindle (11th Gen) is launched at Rs 9,999 in India. However, early buyers can purchase the device at an introductory price of Rs 8,999 for a limited period on the e-commerce platform’s website.
