The Pixel 8a is powered by the Google Tensor G3 chip, the same found in the high-end Pixel 8 series, and works alongside the certified Titan M2 security chip. This translates to a safe and smooth user experience and access to Google’s AI features like Google Circle to Search, Best Take, Magic Editor, Audio emojis, etc. Google is also bringing Gemini to Pixel 8a, making it the first phone at this price point with its AI chatbot.
This mid-range phone boasts a 6.1-inch 120Hz Actua display at 430 PPI, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone promises up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. With its IP67 rating for water and dust resistance and a metal frame, the Pixel 8a is presented as the most durable device in Google’s A-Series lineup.
