Google Pixel Buds Pro succeeds the Pixel Buds and Pixel Buds A-Series.
The Google Pixel Buds Pro will hit the Indian market on July 28, while prior reservations will commence on July 21.
The premium earbuds’ announcement comes in response to a query by a Facebook user. Alongside India, the earbuds will be available in 12 other countries, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
Google Pixel Buds Pro which was unveiled in May this year is seen as a competitor to Apple’s AirPods Pro and Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro. The earbuds, which are available in Charcoal, Coral, Fog, and Lemongrass colors, were unveiled at a retail price of $199.99 (approximately Rs 15,862), but their India pricing has yet to be announced.
The truly wireless stereo (or TWS) earbuds come with active noise cancellation (or ANC), which is built on a custom six-core audio chip that runs the company’s noise cancellation algorithms, and a transparency mode to help the user to hear the ambient sound.
Google Pixel Buds Pro succeeds the Pixel Buds and Pixel Buds A-Series and offers a hands-free Google Assistant experience. They also feature capacitive touch sensors for tap and swipe gesture support, along with a total listening time of 31 hours.
The launch of the earbuds has raised speculation that the American multinational tech giant could soon release the Pixel 6 series and the Pixel 6a as well.
