One of India’s most used messengers, WhatsApp faced downtime for many users globally for about 2 hours today. During the outage that is said to be WhatsApp’s longest, users could not send and receive messages. According to DownDetector, a website that reports on outages and other problems, many users reported issues with using WhatsApp since 3:17 AM EDT (12:30 pm IST).
