Spotify’s interface has three new sections: Challenge, Rewards, and Help.

Swedish audio streaming platform Spotify has announced a new rewards program for premium mini users in India. The new initiative will grant subscribers access to Spotify’s premium service for as low as Rs 2 per week instead of the original Rs 25 a week.

“After months of development and testing, today at @Spotify my team has launched our new baby, built with Asia in mind: Rewards Program. Starting rollout from India and one of the Premium plans: Premium Mini,” the company’s product manager Szymon Kopeć Tweeted.

As per his Tweet, the app’s interface has three new sections: Challenge, Rewards, and Help. The company has launched a new feature called ‘challenges’ and users who will complete these will be rewarded with the premium mini plan at Rs 2 for seven days.

According to reports, subscribers using the premium mini plan for any ten days within the next 30 days will be eligible to take benefit of the initiative. Further with the premium mini plan, users will get the entire catalog of songs and podcasts with an ad-free experience, as per reports.

Currently, a Spotify Premium Mini plan costs Rs. 7 per day and Rs. 25 per week for Indian users. The usage of the plan is restricted to phone and tablet app users. The plan lets users access ad-free music and podcasts along with the ability to download up to 30 songs on a single device for offline streaming.

Elsewhere, the company last month released Spotify Wrapped campaign for 2022. It is an annual recap of what users have been listening to throughout the year.
