Chinese smartphone maker Realme is gearing up to launch the budget-friendly Realme 12X 5G in the Indian market on April 2nd. Ahead of the official release, the company has revealed some key specifications and pricing details of the Realme 12x 5G.
Realme 12x Specs
The Realme 12X 5G boasts a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for a more responsive user experience. Under the hood, the phone packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 6nm 5G processor, making it one of the first devices in its price range, under Rs. 12,000, to offer 5G connectivity. Adding to its appeal is the inclusion of a 5000mAh battery coupled with 45W SuperVOOC wired fast charging support, promising quick power top-ups.
The phone is also touted as the slimmest and lightest in its segment at 7.69mm and features dual stereo speakers. In terms of the camera, the Realme 12X includes a dual-camera setup consisting of one 50 MP f/1.8 wide AI primary sensor with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus) and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro sensor on the rear. On the front, the device may get an 8 MP f/2.1 wide sensor for selfies. The phone is built to IP54 standards, offering some level of dust and water resistance.
An interesting feature is the inclusion of Air Gestures, which allows users to control the phone through hand movements without physical contact. This could be a welcome addition for those who prefer hands-free operation. Additionally, the device features the latest Android 14 experience with Realme’s Realme UI 4.0.
