Motorola has announced that the highly anticipated Moto Edge 50 Pro will soon make its debut in India, with Flipkart set to be the exclusive retail partner. The Moto Edge 50 Pro is said to feature a 6.7 inch pOLED display with support for 1.5K resolution, offering an immersive viewing experience with HDR10+ certification and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The phone will also boast a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate, compared to the industry standard of 120Hz. the display is equipped with SGS Eye protection to minimize blue light emission and features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for added durability.
Leading the camera department is an AI-backed camera setup highlighted by a powerful 50 MP primary 2μm AI-powered primary camera as users can explore new perspectives with an ultra-wide camera featuring 50x hybrid zoom capabilities, along with a 10 MP telephoto lens for capturing distant subjects with precision.
Performance wise, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with a generous 12GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Additionally, the handset may get a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 125W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Other notable features to expect include is an optical in-display fingerprint scanner for seamless and secure authentication. Notably, it is touted to be the world’s first Pantone-validated camera, promising unparalleled color accuracy and vibrancy in every shot.

Though details regarding pricing has not been confirmed yet, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro may start from Rs. 89,990 and will be available in three striking color options White, Purple, and Black.
While the exact launch date remains undisclosed, Motorola India has hinted at an imminent release, around April 3rd, sparking anticipation among eager consumers awaiting the arrival of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro alongside its sibling, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. Additionally, the Edge 50 Pro is expected to launch in the United States under the name Edge+ (2024) since Motorola brands its flagship with “Plus” for its American consumers.
