CMF, the budget-friendly sub-brand of Nothing, has entered the budget smartphone market with the CMF Phone 1. This budget smartphone from CMF (stands for Color, Material, and Finish) will feature blend of strong performance thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, a colourful super AMOLED display, and a 50 MP Sony sensor all at a rumoured point of under 15,000 Rupees. The phone will be launched on the 8th of July and here’s a deeper look at the confirmed as well as the expected specs of this device.
CMF Phone 1 Specs
The CMF Phone 1 features a 6.7 inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This combination should deliver smooth visuals for everyday use and gaming. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM with an additional 8GB via the RAM Booster.
The Phone 1 comes equipped with a dual rear camera system. While the main sensor is confirmed to be a 50 MP Sony sensor, the secondary camera is expected to be a 2 MP depth sensor. Additionally the device is expected to feature a 16 MP front-facing camera.
While the confirmed RAM option is the 8GB variant, it is rumoured that a 6GB RAM variant with the same rumoured storage capacity of 128GB will be available at an even lesser price point. Apart from this the device will feature a 5000mAh and 33W fast wired charging as well.
The CMF Phone 1 will run on Nothing OS skin on the latest version of Android 14. Security is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C charging.
Price, colours and availability
The CMF Phone 1 will be available in three colour variants, CMF Orange, Standard Black and White variants just like the Phone (2) and Phone 2a. The phone will also be customisable in terms of design as users can easily change cases and attach accessories on their devices. The device will be launched live on July 8th and the prices will be mentioned on Flipkart.
