Remember that smart ring Samsung teased back in July at its Unpacked event in Paris? Well, it’s finally making its way to India. Pre-reservations for the Galaxy Ring are now live with a launch set to happen in the next few days. It can be pre-reserved for Rs. 1,999.
Available in a range of sizes (5 to 13) and finishes (titanium black, titanium silver and titanium gold), the Galaxy Ring is packed with sensors to monitor everything from your heart rate and sleep stages to your activity levels and stress. But it’s not just about health. The Galaxy Ring also boasts features like gesture controls and integration with Samsung’s SmartThings Find, and of course the greater Samsung ecosystem.
The Samsung Galaxy Ring gets a 10ATM rating, along with IP68 dust and water protection. The ring in itself weighs in at just 2.3g for the smallest size. It even offers upto seven days of charge and can be charged using the charging case.
Early birds who pre-reserve their Galaxy Ring by October 15th can score some sweet deals. Samsung is throwing in a complimentary Wireless Charger Duo worth ₹4,999 and waiving any subscription fees. Plus, if you use the Samsung Shop app, you can grab a welcome voucher worth up to ₹5,000.
While the official price is still under wraps, the global price tag of $399 (roughly ₹34,000) gives us a ballpark figure.
