Oppo unveiled the renamed variant of the Oppo A80 5G, called the Oppo A3 Pro 5G Available immediately upon its announcement, here’s a look at everything that this device brings to the table.
Oppo A3 Pro 5G specs
The Oppo A3 Pro 5G features a a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display 120Hz refresh rate. The screen offers a peak brightness of 1000 nits in high-brightness mode, with a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device is protected by Panda glass for added durability. Additionally the device supports dual Nano-SIM cards with dual standby functionality and features an IP54 rating, offering resistance against dust and splashes.
Under the hood, the Oppo A3 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process, coupled with an octa-core CPU comprising two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, alongside a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The device runs on Android 14 with Oppo’s ColorOS 14.
The device comes in two storage variants: 128GB with 8GB RAM and 256GB with 8GB RAM. Both versions utilize UFS 2.2 technology. Additionally, the device supports microSDXC cards, allowing users to expand storage as needed.
In terms of cameras, the Oppo A3 Pro features a dual-camera setup on the rear, that consists of one main 50 MP wide lens with an f/1.8 aperture supports phase detection autofocus (PDAF), accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, the device sports an 8 MP wide-angle selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture, capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
Powering the device is a 5100 mAh non-removable battery as the device supports 45W wired charging via USB Type-C, with Oppo advertising a 50% charge in just 30 minutes. The Oppo A80 5G includes a range of connectivity options, including dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 with A2DP and LE support, and GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, and QZSS for positioning.
It also features NFC (depending on the market/region), a 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG support.For security, the device offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, along with other sensors like an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass.

The Oppo A3 Pro is available for purchase and is priced at ₹17,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and ₹19,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. It is available in two colour options: Moonlit Purple and Starry Black. It is currently available for purchase from the Oppo online store and Amazon India.
