Toyota has launched the 2025 Land Cruiser 300 in India, priced at Rs. 2.35 crore, ex-showroom. For the first time, the off-road-focused GR-S variant will also be available along with the ZX variant to Indian customers, priced at a slight premium at Rs. 2.41 crore, ex-showroom. Bookings for both the variants have been opened.
The prices for the 2025 Land Cruiser have seen a revision of Rs. 21 lakh over its predecessor. That said, there are updates in the form of a revised features list and active safety tech (Level 2 ADAS is now standard with adaptive headlights, lane keep assist, autonomous braking and adaptive cruise control). The ZX variant gets connected car tech and a digital instrument cluster (quite a surprise, I know) in addition to features like the 4 zone climate control, 12.3-inch infotainment display, front and rear seat ventilation, 10 airbags and a 360-degree camera that were present in the 2024 model. The GR-S gets off-road kit like a limited slip differential at the rear and diff locks at both axles.

There’s more off-road tech that makes its way to the GR-S. They include crawl control, hill and descent assist, off-road driving modes, traction control and an off-road monitoring system. On the outside, points of differentiation include black accents, an aggressive bumper, blacked-out alloys and GR badging.
As with other Land Cruisers of the past, there aren’t too many paint options – black and white are the only ones available. On the interior, however, the GR-S gets contrasty black and red, while the ZX makes do with either beige or black.
There are no changes to the mechanicals outside of the off-road bits mentioned above. The Land Cruiser continues to be powered by a 3.3-litre V6 diesel mill that produces 309hp and 700Nm of power and torque respectively. The engine is mated to a 10-speed torque converter gearbox.
Frankly, there’s not much else quite like the Land Cruiser so there are no real direct rivals. However, the Range Rover and and the G-Wagon are in a similar price range.
