Singapore-based household appliance manufacturer, Dyson, has entered the Indian market with the highly anticipated launch of the Dyson V12s Detect Slim Submarine. Priced at Rs 62,900, this wet-and-dry cordless vacuum cleaner promises to revolutionize cleaning routines with its advanced features and innovative design.
The highlight of the Dyson V12s Detect Slim Submarine is its all-in-one wet-and-dry cleaning capability, filling the void that Indian consumers have long craved. Unlike its predecessors, the V12s Detect Slim Submarine features a new module called Submarine, equipped with a 300ml water capacity and an additional 360ml waste-water compartment. This ensures that wet dirt and debris do not fall back onto the floor during the cleaning process. With a full charge, the Dyson V12s Detect Slim Submarine can last for 16 minutes and cover the floors of an average-sized home, spanning up to 1,200 sqft.
The Submarine module incorporates an advanced eight-point hydration system, utilizing a pressurized chamber for even water distribution and optimal saturation across the entire width of the roller. This sophisticated system boasts eight evenly spaced water jets, releasing 18ml of water every minute to clean floors evenly without leaving excess wetness. The motor-driven microfiber roller is designed to effectively remove spills, tough stains, and debris from hard floors. Moreover, a durable plate efficiently extracts contaminated water from the wet roller and deposits it into a separate waste-water tray for convenient and easy emptying.
Dyson has taken special care to ensure that wet waste collected by the Submarine module does not reach Dyson’s Hyperdymium motor at the top. The motor only activates during dry dust cleaning, capable of spinning at a remarkable speed of up to 125,000rpm and delivering 150 AW of powerful suction.
The Dyson cleaner also comes with an impressive LCD screen, offering users real-time statistics, such as the size and number of dust particles accumulated in the dirt chamber, thanks to the built-in piezo sensor. This feature provides scientific proof of a deep clean by counting and measuring microscopic dust particles, allowing the vacuum to automatically adjust suction power across different floor types and dust levels.
The Dyson V12s Detect Slim Submarine includes several key modules, each adding value to the cleaning experience. These modules include the Fluffy Optic Cleaner Head with a laser for on-surface dust detection, the Hair Screw Tool, the Combination Tool with a wide nozzle and brush, the Crevice Tool, and the Wand Clip, all in addition to the Submarine wet roller head.
Comparing the Dyson V12s Detect Slim Submarine to its predecessor, the Dyson V12 Detect Slim cordless vacuum cleaner, the former stands out with its advanced wet cleaning capability.
