    Realme’s Dizo partners with Optiemus Electronics to manufacture tech wearables in India

    Dizo, a subsidiary brand of the Chinese smartphone maker Realme, has partnered with India’s Optiemus Electronics to manufacture smartwatches and audio wearables in India.

     

    According to a release, the company has already started making DIZO Watch D along with some other products in the country and eventually plans to move to production of other existing and upcoming products in phases.

     

    “Our alliance with Optiemus Electronics Limited only supports our commitment towards India and the Indian consumers. We are positive that through this partnership we will be able to bridge the gap of making more futuristic AIoT (Artificial intelligence of things) and lifestyle products for the growing consumer needs,” Abhilash Panda, chief executive officer at Dizo India, said.

    Since its inception, Dizo, the first Realme TechLife brand, has launched over 30 products including smartwatches, earbuds, neckbands, beard trimmers, hair dryers, feature phones, and smartphone accessories. It is among the Top 5 smartwatch brands in India, as per recent reports by Counterpoint Research. The wearables of the brand are available both on online platforms and offline stores.

     

    Optiemus Electronics Limited, on the other hand, is a homegrown brand that provides electronic manufacturing services (EMS) in the country. It has previously partnered with some top consumer tech giants like One Plus, Oppo, LG, HTC, Jio, Nokia, etc.
